Our team has been in the business of concrete construction for over 50 years. Here’s our story...
In 1962, Joe Martin opened Mart Septic Tank, where he gained his precasting experience creating his own septic tanks.
The company was incorporated in 1980, and three years later, Ed joined the team. After getting his general contractor’s license in public utilities, we began public utility work. In 1986, MST purchased our first manhole form to build manholes.
After building a few manholes for a competitor, we changed our focus to our successful precasting work and put the utility side of the business to rest.
In 1996, we officially became “MST Concrete Products Inc.” “We wanted to identify ourselves differently than we had in the past when we were a utility contractor,” says Lynn, daughter of Joe, a CPA who joined the company in 1999. “We wanted to be known as a precaster.”
In 2000, we purchased a drycast machine, which increased production and allowed us to invest in an 18,000 square foot production plant in 2007, where we produce our high-quality, custom concrete products today.
